Do you use farmed or wild salmon for your smoked salmon?
When it comes to sourcing, we only work with suppliers that meet the strictest SAFETY AND QUALITY standards. Wild Atlantic salmon is a protected species therefore it cannot be sold commercially.

How long can I store smoked fish?
Once sliced and purchased from Solomos our salmon is best to be consumed within 7 days.
Is farmed salmon safe to eat?
Yes it is. We source the top quality farmed salmon with no antibiotics or hormones.
Is it O.K. to freeze smoked fish?
Yes it is. For best results you can vacuum pack or make sure to get most of the air out of your packaging before freezing.
What are the main health benefits of smoked salmon?
Smoked salmon is high in protein, has Omega 3s, vitamin D, and it is known to reduce cardiovascular disease.
